Elder Johnson

Dear Elder Johnson,

Hi Son! In case you have Forgotten what your
Brother's and Dad look like
I am sending you this picture.
I had to take about 20 pictures of this same pose
to get a picture of you goof balls
looking sweet and not goofy!

Now, this one of you and Carlin...
REALLY SWEET.

This of course is the last time you held
your nephew Isaac.
We talk about you all the time, Yes we
EVEN miss you.
He will not be forgetting you!!
Trust me. ♥

I loved receiving your letter! I smiled a LOT! We shared it with the Bishop and Thomas when they came Home Teaching on Sunday. I though that was so sweet of you to send a picture of you and your companion.

I am sure that you are enjoying all of the reading and learning and studying you are doing. Try to let someone else answer the questions once in a while OK?

All of the cats, gliders, and the dog were fine when we got home.
Johny had freaked out during a storm, managed to knock the air co. out of my bedroom window and met Carlin and Naomi at the door that night when they came over. O Man, that was a dirty mess in the window as you can imagine. Dad had to repair the cord on the air co. He had it all back up and running by Sat. afternoon.
Carlin just took Johny home with them until we got home, because Johny also dug under the gate, lifted it up off of the hinges and met Carlin and Naomi at their car the next night!!!
I guess we all know why he is called Robo-Dog!

Take Care Son. I am sure you are having a grand time with all of the great food in the MTC. Write to me and tell me all about it.
Love You,
MOM ♥

Family

The best and most
Beautiful things in the World
Cannot be seen or even
Touched.
They must be felt
With the Heart.
~Hellen Keller ~

We spent a lovely afternoon and evening in Salt Lake City the Saturday of our trip. Naomi has wanted so much to experience Temple Square. She, Carlin, and Isaac traveled with us to Utah because she has expressed this desire since joining the Church almost 2 years ago.

Temple Square is always a glorious experience, to see it and feel it through her eyes was a wondrous experience. It has been many years since we took our children also.

Happy Sunday everyone, thank you for all of your love and support.

Home Again

We are Home again,
after over a week of traveling it feels great to be here!
It has been a very long time since we
traveled far with a two year old!
I am exhausted, and today I won't do
anything I don't ha
ve to do.

I am also emotionally drained
from watching my eldest son fly from my nest
on his LONG EXPLORE.
I won't be able to see or touch him for two years!

This is a beautiful flower from my trip.

I have oodles of blog reading to do
I can't wait to catch up with everyone.

A Computer Story

Once upon a time, ok it was less than two weeks ago, Jared put together {I don't know how he does the magic that he does}, a laptop for me. Because I love to blog and such things. Yesterday I found this... My adorable, sweet, charming grandson found a way to break the keys off of the keyboard.

He is so cute and o' so very curious.
Yeah, I should have been watching him.
What was I thinking?

Clearly I Wasn't!
But hey, let's look on the bright side here,
when Jared came home, saw the destruction,
and laughed heartily, he said, "you need to take
some pictures of this. I think that would be
worth a blog post."

Here is a close up veiw of my keyboard,
or what WAS my keyboard.
Bet you are glad you are not me...
at least in the, "She is down one laptop,"
sense that is!

Yesterday

Yesterday We had our Family Portraits taken.
To celebrate Stephan leaving on his mission,
and Carlin & Naomi & Isaac's Sealing in the Temple.

This is not a photo from the photo shoot.
But... ummmm, yeah that is how Isaac posed
for ALMOST EVERY SHOT!!

We had our good friend Dray take the pictures
so it isn't that he didn't know the photographer.
NO...
He IS Two!!!

I am reminded of why the last Formal family portrait on my
wall is from when Mollie was 2.
That was 12 years ago.
